Hey there,
So as this is my first post I thought I'd throw myself into the deep end by doing the 'get to know me' tag which has been floating around on the Youtube/Tumblr/blogging world for a while now. That way you'll be able to tell whether or not you want to be here listening to my ramblings about all things makeup, nails, hair & fashion.
So lets get started...
1. Are you named after anyone?
I don't think so. I think 'Tegan' was a name my mum stumbled upon in a magazine a few months before my birth. (Before her and my dad decided on Tegan, I think they were leaning towards India, which I think I would have preferred! The grass is always greener...hmm..) And I'm really not sure where my middle name 'Isabella' came from, will have to find that out!
2. When was the last time you cried?
Hmm... tough question. I'm not a massive crier honestly.. It was probably at a film or t.v programme! Sorry - rubbish answer!
3. Do you have kids?
Nope. Would like to in the future I think, although I find the thought of childbirth super duper scary!
4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
I'd like to say yes, but it would depend on the personality of the other person I suppose. I think I'd get on with myself if I was outgoing and loud, but as a shy and quiet person I'd probably find myself irritating. Interesting question..
5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Noo.... Haha! Yes, a lot! Possibly more than I should!
6. Would you ever bungee jump?
No! I'd love to be able to say yes, but it would just never happen. Sky diving with a big strong man attached to me - maybe. Bungee jumping alone and upside down - no, thanks.
7. What's your favourite cereal?
Lucky charms by a mile. However, I don't live in America and in the UK they're around £7 for a box, which is extortionate, and not worth it for a bowl of sugar! So I'm going to say coco pops!
8. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Hmm, tough one. Usually I'd say hair/face because this can tell you a lot about a person. Also, a persons personality can sometimes by read by their clothes/style, so that's something else I think I subconsciously weigh up when meeting a new person - all very shallow, I know.
9. What's your eye colour?
Brown... but oh how I wish I had blue eyes!
10. Scary movie or happy endings?
Happy endings all the way! I cannot deal with scary movies at all! Chick flicks and rom coms please!
11. Favourite smells?
Viva la juicy by Juicy Couture and anything and everything that smells like peach, passionfruit or watermelon!
12. Summer or winter?
Both, please! But non of that horribleness in between. Just lots and lots of sunshine or lots and lots of snow!
13. Computer or television?
Hmm, I just instinctively typed computer however I actually think I'd probably choose the t.v. I spend a lot more time watching t.v than I do on the computer. Mostly because when I'm watching t.v I feel like I'm spending time with my family, whereas on the computer I feel very unsocial!
14. What's the furthest you've ever been from home?
I just had to open Google Maps to find this one out! Apparently, South Africa is the furthest I've ever been from home. I find this confusing as, if I remember correctly there was only a 1 hour time difference, can anyone explain this to me? Haha
15. Do you have any special talents?
Hmm.. not particularly. I can say the alphabet very very quickly in baby letters... that's my party trick! Haha. I can belly dance. I'm overly organised...
16. Where were you born?
Middlesbrough... :/
17. What are your hobbies?
I have non! Hence the new blog, haha! Hmm, I suppose reading beauty blogs and watching beauty related videos on YouTube could be considered a hobby? .. No?
18. Do you have any pets?
Our family have a lovely German Shorthaired Pointer dog called Maisy, and a grumpy fat ginger cat called Mousie. Although I'm also dying for a lizard, ferret or snake... I think I'd maybe settle with a goldfish but I'm not even allowed one of them!
19. Favourite movie?
Oooohhh, tough one! Mean Girls, The Change-Up, 50 First Dates, The Inbetweeners Movie, Into The Wild (super thought-provoking), House Bunny...
20. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, one sister - Rebecca who is 7 years older than me.
21. What do you want to be when you grow up?
HAPPY!
